By accessing and using Velocity Sound Studios ("we," "our," or "the Studio"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Velocity Sound Studios provides professional music production services including:
- Music Production: Beat creation, mixing, mastering, and full production services
- Sync Licensing: Submission of your music to 40+ venues including TV, film, advertising, and streaming platforms
- VIP Membership: Exclusive access to Star Manager and AI Media Studio features
- AI Media Studio: Advanced content creation tools for social media and marketing
- Audio Services: Vocal tuning, recording, and professional mixing/mastering
3. User Accounts & Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive behavior.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change. Current pricing includes:
- Basic Production Services: Starting at $199 per track
- VIP Essential: $49/month
- VIP Professional: $149/month
- VIP Enterprise: $299/month
- Sync Licensing Submission: $250 one-time fee
4.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your credit card information.
4.3 Refund Policy
Production work is non-refundable once started. VIP memberships can be canceled anytime, with no refunds for partial months. Sync licensing fees are non-refundable after submission process begins.
5. Intellectual Property & Rights
5.1 Ownership of Master Recordings
YOU OWN 100% of the master recordings of any tracks produced through our services. We do not claim ownership of your music.
5.2 Producer Credits
Velocity Sound Studios retains the right to producer credits on all tracks created. This includes:
- Credit as "Produced by Velocity Sound Studios" on streaming platforms
- Right to showcase your track in our portfolio (with your permission)
- Use of track snippets for marketing purposes
5.3 Copyright
You retain all copyrights to your lyrics, melodies, and vocal performances. Instrumental compositions created by our producers are licensed to you for commercial use.
5.4 Commercial Use
You have the right to:
- Release music on all streaming platforms
- Monetize on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, etc.
- Perform the music live
- License the music for sync opportunities
6. Sync Licensing Services
6.1 Submission Process
Our sync licensing service includes:
- Professional demo preparation within 24 hours
- Submission to 40+ venues (TV, film, advertising, streaming platforms)
- Active pitching for 12 months from submission date
- No exclusivity required - you maintain all rights
6.2 No Guarantees
While we actively pitch your music, we cannot guarantee placements. Sync licensing is competitive and depends on factors beyond our control including music supervisors' preferences, project needs, and timing.
6.3 Placement Revenue
If your music is placed:
- You receive 100% of sync licensing fees from the placement
- We do not take commission on sync fees
- You handle negotiations directly with music supervisors (we can advise)
7. Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with third-party platforms including:
- Social Media: TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn
- Payment Processing: Stripe, PayPal
- Cloud Storage: AWS
- AI Services: AssemblyAI (transcription), various AI generation tools
Use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party services.
8. User Content & Conduct
8.1 Prohibited Content
You agree NOT to create or submit content that:
- Violates copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
- Contains illegal material or promotes illegal activities
- Is defamatory, hateful, or harassing
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Infringes on privacy rights of others
8.2 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.
9. Warranties & Disclaimers
9.1 Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9.2 Professional Quality
While we maintain professional standards, we do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes, chart positions, streaming numbers, or sync placements.
9.3 AI-Generated Content
AI Media Studio features use third-party AI services. We do not guarantee accuracy, quality, or legal compliance of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated materials.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services in the past 12 months
- We are not responsible for lost revenue, profits, or business opportunities
- We are not liable for third-party service failures or data breaches
11. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data collection and use as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. VIP Membership Terms
12.1 Subscription
- VIP memberships are billed monthly on a recurring basis
- You can cancel anytime - cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
- No refunds for partial months
- Access to VIP features terminates upon cancellation
12.2 Star Manager Credits
- Monthly credits do not roll over
- Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle
- Additional credits can be purchased separately
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Major changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
